Sam George Media
Videographer portfolio: texture, bold type, ink bleed aesthetics.
Sam is a London-based videographer and photographer whose work is genuinely next level: cinematic, textured, and full of energy. He needed a portfolio that didn't just display his footage but matched the feel of it.
This is a full creative freedom project. No brand guidelines to follow, no existing site to reference. Just incredible source material and the brief to make something that feels as good as the work itself.
Sam is a London-based videographer and photographer who needed a portfolio site that matched the energy and texture of his work. The brief was specific: bold typography, ink bleed aesthetics, print-inspired visuals, motion blur. Not a clean corporate portfolio, but something with grit and personality.
The site needs to showcase video work (show reel + case studies), photography, and make it easy for potential clients to get in touch. Four pages: Landing, Portfolio, About, Contact.
The design direction leans heavily into print and texture: photocopy grain, ink bleed effects, bold type treatments. The logo itself is typographic, "SAM GEORGE" with "MEDIA" below, treated with an ink bleed aesthetic.
Built in Webflow with a focus on letting the video work speak for itself. The portfolio structure separates the show reel (the hook) from individual case studies (the depth). Inspiration drawn from volairdronesolutions.com, mariodragicevic.com, maxmilkin.com, and chew.productions.
Currently in progress. The design direction is locked in and the build is underway. This project represents a different kind of brief, a creative portfolio where the design itself needs to feel like the client's work, not just display it.
